The case is what I was expecting and need for a short, 1 week, trip. I had no problem setting the lock. I had a problem with the soft luggage lock but no problem with this one.

I had the Away carry-on which I love, but is too small for longer trips. Got the medium size and it is going to be perfect for my next cruise. Shipping was super fast and the suitcase was packaged nicely.
